Don’t see your question here? That’s okay! Shoot me a message on Facebook! 🙂

Do you have a studio?

I do have a small studio setup in my home for newborn sessions and grow-with-me sessions only. I am a natural light photographer, so outside is where we’ll be 🙂

How quickly will I receive my photos?

The turn around time for portrait sessions typically take 2-3 weeks depending on whether or not we’re in the busy season! For weddings, turn around time varies on the wedding collection you selected, typically 4-6 weeks!

Do you travel?

Yep! I sure do! For services outside a 25-mile radius of my home office, there is a travel fee of $0.65/mile both ways.

What forms of payment do you take?

I accept payment in the form of cash, check, credit card or PayPal.

Do you shoot weddings?

I am not taking weddings at this time.

What happens after booking?

All clients must complete the Client Agreement Form and the retainer fee to secure your session.

For your newborn session to have the best possible outcome, clients must comply with the Newborn Guide, which you can view or download -here-.

After you have completed the Client Agreement form and paid the retainer fee, you will receive a welcome packet via email.

There will be a short questionnaire just so I can get to know you a little better 🙂

Can I view my images online somewhere?

The basic portrait session does not include online viewing gallery but can be added for an additional cost. The deluxe portrait session, however does include online viewing!

The online viewing galleries are password protected for your privacy and also include a link where you can download your images directly to your home computer!

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes, I do! Contact me for details!

Where can I print my images?

I offer a wide variety of prints and products that are printed with the highest quality through a professional printing lab. If you choose to print with another lab, I only recommend using as they have the highest quality available to you outside of a professional lab!

What is your cancellation policy?

For portrait sessions, a 50% non-refundable session retainer is required immediately to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session if applicable. The remaining balance is due 2 days before the session date. Client forfeits their session retainer and the retainer fee paid to book the session date will act as a cancellation fee as previously stated. The fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by calling 48 hours prior to the date of session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.

Can I edit my images?

Absolutely not!

Q: Can I scan the prints I ordered and use them on my website or send copies to family & friends?
A: According to the US Copyright Act, legally this is strictly prohibited. I understand that people get excited about their images and want to share them with others, and you are more than welcome to either share any watermarked images I post on my website/blog or send a link to the website/blog that directs family & friends to the post with the images you’d like to share. Also, I’m happy to post the images to Facebook and tag them with your name so they’ll show up on your page. According to the Professional Photographers Association of America, “The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author (creator) of the photograph the exclusive right to copy, edit, and distribute an image by sale or transfer. These exclusive rights make it illegal to copy, scan, edit, or share photographic prints and digital media without the photographer’s permission. Violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. Be sure to discuss your copyright needs or questions with your photographer; reasonable requests may be accommodated.”

Q: I purchased the digital images. Are there any restrictions with what I can do with them?
A: When you purchase digital image files, you will receive a copy of the limited print reproduction release for personal printing usage. This gives you the right to print the files as often as needed and to use the images, however you’d like for personal needs (scrapbooking, personal website(s), gifts for family and friends, etc.). This does not include the right to resell the images in their original or altered state, and it does not cover using the image(s) for commercial use (packaging, brochures, business website(s), advertising pieces, etc.) It is illegal to alter the images using any type of photo editing software. As the original creator of the images, legally I will still own the original copyright to your images and retain the right to use the images for marketing and promotional purposes.
